Jewellery making

The other day, while I was in Chester, I ventured out with sore feet to go to Outfit and we stumbled upon a Hobby Craft. There is so much stuff in there that I love but as you may know it's not particularly cheap. I wanted to make something as I was feeling creative and was torn between making jewellery or making floral crowns. I ended up going to jewellery because it seemed cheaper. So I bought some earrings (45p in the Sale) enough to make 4 pairs, cross bead things, a small pot of beads and 5m of stretchy wire. It cost me about £10 (is that cheap?).

I got home and started some DIY! This is the outcome:

(sorry for the crappy phone picture) This is the only photo of the bracelet (right) and earrings (far left) I made for my sister
The earrings (I made one more pair but my sister is wearing them)
One of the bracelets I made. How cute are the fish on it?

What the earrings look like when on
I'm quite proud of what I've made to say it was a first attempt. My only issue is that I don't live near a hobby craft to go and get more supplies and I don't really buy things from on the internet.

  2. Very nice earrings, and it's so special that you made them yourself I'd love to do that but I don't really have the patience, or the steady hand!
