Spots

Image
Top - Topshop // Jeans - Charity Shop // Shoes - Topshop (old) // Necklace - Topshop // Rings - Primark   I always said to myself that if I ever got a pair of Topshop Mom jeans then I would wear them with this spotty crop top. I know these aren't the proper Mom jeans but I didn't wanna dish out £40 on a pair of jeans y'know so it's close enough. I finally jumped on the bandwagon and bought some midi rings. I got these in a pack that has 8 rings in 4 different colours for £1.50. I have found that no matter where I get my rings from be it primark or Topshop they make my fingers go green and I have no intention of spending more than Topshop prices on a ring. Oh the life of a cheap skate. I have a dream

Cardigan - Primark // Coca-Cola T-shirt - Primark (men's) // Pleather Skirt - H&M // Shoes - Doc Martens Yesterday I popped to Townley Hall and Park in Burnley with my sister, auntie, uncle and little so we could take my little cousin to the play area. If you're familiar with Burnley, you will know it's not the nicest of areas so I was really surprised to find such a beautiful place there. We had a wander around, let my cousin go on the parks, ate ice lollies and of course took lots of pictures. We didn't go inside the hall but if I ever go again I definitely will because it has a museum and I am a sucker for a good museum! In other news today marks the 50th Anniversary of Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speech. I am currently doing research on Martin Luther King and the boycott so it's nice that I can actually understand the significance of it all. Today also marks 50 years since the busses in Bri

Dungarees - Vintage fair // Top - Charity shop // Boots - Doc Martens // Lipstick - Barry M in the shade 151 I've have been trying to think of different things to wear with my sheer top and this was the result. I would also wear my dungarees with a fishnet top (if I had one). I keep intending to make one but my local supermarkets don't sell fishnet tights for some reason. I am embracing the whole bare leg look at the moment because it is coming to that September time where the weather gets shitty and it's too cold to go barelegged or wear clear tights. Saying this I am looking forward to wearing thick jumpers and having an excuse not to leave the house.   Don't forget to like my Facebook  page and follow me on bloglovin !

Lilac

Lilac Jumper - Primark // Shirt - Charity Shop // Leather Skirt - Rokit Vintage // Glitter Socks - Topshop // Shoes - Doc Martens // Lipstick - Sleek in the shade Vamp The other day I went shopping for the first time (properly) on my own. I normally go with friends of my sister but I went on my lonely lonesome and wait for it, I even went in Primark on my own, how brave of me! Whilst I was there I picked up this gorgeous lilac jumper which I have been umming and aahing over for a couple of weeks but I finally just bought it. The thing that put me off a bit was the neck as it's like a slit/massive hole thing rather than a proper neck (I can't describe it). Anyway I think I will be wearing this outfit for sixth form a lot during the winter, which I am sure is not far off or in the wise words of Ned Stark "winter is coming". I also found, after a whole year of searching, the perfect dark red lipstick which is by Sleek. woohoo! I'm not re

DIY Bright Photos Frames

Image
I love mismatched frames randomly hung on walls but mine were all really boring colours so I thought that I would jazz them up a little bit and here's how I did it!   You will need: Paint - I used Dulux wall paint tester pots, they were about £1-£2 each from the range 2 Paint brushes -I used thin ones as my photo frames were thin. The tester pots do come with a brush in the lid but they were a bit thick for liking. I got my brushes for less than £1 from B&M and the range Sand paper - You may need this if your photo frames are varnished wood as the paint may not look as good.  Newspaper - Pop this on your table/wherever you are doing this DIY to ensure you don't ruin furniture or carpet. Of course you will need photo frames    Step 1: Firstly you need to take the back off the photo frames and take out the pictures and the glass so that the paint doesn't get on them Step 2: You may need to sand your photo frames, I found that I didn't need to do i

Cardigan - Matalan // Dress - Topshop // Shoes - Topshop This for me is a very boring outfit but it resembles the weather - rather dull. I love this dress and have worn it throughout both summer and winter and is very soft. It's supposed to be a midi dress but my short little self it's like a long midi or short maxi and looks a tad awkward. I normally wear the dress with my docs but today I opted for my velvet shoes from topshop which are fall apart (sobs). Have a fab weekend! Facebook | Tumblr | Twitter | Questions | Pinterest

End of The World

Image
Dress - Topshop // Boots - Doc Martens When in Manchester the other week I was perusing the sale rails in topshop and found numerous things that were nice and not in my size (typical) and then I stumbled upon this dress for £10. I ran into the changing rooms, threw it on and fell in love a whole lot more. What was even better was when I went to the checkout I asked the kind lady if they did student discount on sale items and she said yes so overall this £46 dress ended up being £9. How amazing. I decided to wear it today,  AS results day, because I thought that if I do badly at least I would be wearing a pretty dress. When I got home my sister pointed out that I have managed to rip a hole in the underskirt. Fab. But it's nothing I can't sew up. Back to my results I got 3 Bs (Religious Studies, Psychology and World Development) and 2 Cs (History and Maths). I am quite pleased but also sad about history because I put so much effort and only got a C but oh well, I'm

Basic

T-shirt - Topshop // Jeans - Charity Shop // Shoes - Topshop // Necklace - Mom's // Rings - H&M // Bag - Charity Shop   The title of the post actually sums up this outfit quite well. It's just jeans and a t-shirt really, only they are better than your average pair of bootcut jeans (shudders). It's weird how throwing on a bit of jewellery can make your outfit look as though you have put in a lot more effort than you actually have. I am a sucker for gold jewellery. I don't really like silver jewellery because I think it's a bit too delicate and pretty and I prefer big chunky gold chains and a whole load of tacky-ness.   P.S Don't forget to enter Fashion Voucher's giveaway to win a £100 ASOS voucher. Velvet & Mesh

Image
Mesh Top - Charity Shop // Crop Top (underneath) - Primark // Skirt - Charity Shop // Boots - Doc Martens // Necklace - Mum's   So the sun is no longer shining and instead it keeps peeing it down with rain. In between showery intervals my sister and I dashed outside to quickly take some outfit pictures. This morning I just threw on this outfit. If I'm ever in doubt of what to wear I just go for all black, it's so much easier than trying to figure out if things match. Anyway I found this top in a charity shop the other week for about £3. I have wanted one from Topshop that is obviously a lot better quality than this one but for £2.95 you can't go wrong really can you? I have been planning to make one out of tights for ages but I would probably just make an arse of it so buying one was much simpler. I bought a simple black crop top from primark for a couple of pounds to put underneath it. This is probably one of the cheapest outfits ever the

Dress - River Island // Boots - Doc Martens // Rings - H&M // Lipstick - MUA shade 1 When in Manchester the other day I spotted this gem in River Island. I know it's technically still summer so I should be embracing everything summer-ish but Autumn/Winter stuff is so amazing. I didn't realise until I got home but this dress is very similar to the dresses the girls in home and away wear for their school uniform so I decided to take inspiration from Sacha and threw on my docs and red lippy. I bought the rings to cheer myself up after I had my passport interview. I don't know which fingers you're supposed to wear each of the rings on so I have been fiddling with them all day. They are surprisingly a really good quality as my fingers are not yet green. In other news it's results day next week ugh, I am not looking forward to that. Lavender Biscuits & win a £100 ASOS Voucher

Image
Cardigan - Primark // Top - Primark // Skirt - Rokit Vintage // Shoes - Docs   I'm sure I have probably posted a very similar outfit to this at some point by hey ho. I wanted to show you this new top that I got from Primark. It's a plain black tee with a white neck and sleeve holes. It's so fab and, worn with the correct thing, can give a real sporty feel to an outfit. Which makes me giggle because me plus sports equals a massive no no. I'd rather have a whole load of cookies any day. Speaking of biscuits, I made some lavender biscuits earlier and boy are they delicious.   I was recently asked by fashionvouchers.com asking if I would like to participate in a giveaway they are holding where both me and you lovely followers are in for the chance to win £100 worth of ASOS vouchers. Doesn't that sound wonderful? I have seen a few things on ASOS which I would definitely buy (hello smock dresses). All you have to do is follow me (follow here ) and fash
