July Favourites

Today I thought I would try something different and start doing a monthly favourites post. I am sure you're familiar with the idea but if not it's simply going to be a post where I share with you all the things that I have loved in the past month, from clothes to CD's and DVD's.

Topshop Lipstick in the shade infrared - £8 :
I have been wearing this lipstick a lot this month as the colour is quite bright and tropical so adds a summery feel to my make up as opposed to my dark red lipsticks which I tend to save for darker months. As I have mentioned in my review, it doesn't last for as long as I would like and can be a bit drying but that's something I am willing to cope with.

Rimmel 60 second nail varnish in 'green with envy'
My sister came back from my Dad's with this nail varnish that my Nan had bought for us from the chemist she works in so I'm not sure how much it is but I am sure you can get it from superdrug or boots. I really like this shade as it's kind of unusual in comparison with a lot of other nail varnish due to it's metallic green colour. I personally think it's a bit mermaidy which is a definite plus!

Garnier Make up Removing Facial Cleanser
After my last make up removing cleanser being a bit greasy, I opted for this cleansing milk type product in the hope it would be more moisturising that oily. All I can say is that it's fab. It removes all traces of make up and leaves my face feeling soft and fresh.

Vaseline Cocoa Butter Body Moisturiser
This product smells absolutely delicious. It can take a while to soak in but once it does it leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and smelling wonderful. I'm running out of this now which is a shame but I have bought another product which may just feature in my August favourites so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Disclosure Album  'Settle' - That's Entertainment £9.99
The last time I went on a shopping spree I ventured into HMV, seeing as they are no longer closing down, to buy this CD however I was faced with nothing but disappointment (apart from buying the whole Tudors boxset for £20 - bargain!). Instead I headed across the road to That's Entertainment, a much cheaper alternative to HMV and they have a way bigger selection of CD's,  DVD's etc. After hearing songs by Disclosure such as Latch, White Noise and You and Me, I realised that I really liked Disclosure which shocked me as this type of music is not usually my cup of tea but I am totally addicted. Fellow fans will have been able to tell as a lot of my outfit posts have had Disclosure song names as their titles. I really love this CD and I constantly listen to it, much to my sister's disappointment.

All About History Magazine - £3.99
As you will probably know, I love history so when I saw this new magazine in Tesco I had to buy it. I know you're thinking how boring it must be but it's actually really interesting. It's jam packed full of exciting information about history and they pretty much confirmed the fact that it's likely that Jesus wasn't actually born on Christmas Day. I would normally be put off by the price as it's a little more than I would pay for a magazine but it's worth it and you can't get any other history magazines for less. Education isn't cheap y'know.

Minkpink Dress - Urban Outfitters £35 reduced from £75
I have always loved how the Minkpink dresses look but I have always been put off by the price tag but when I popped into my local Urban Outfitters I saw this beauty in the sale at £35. I probably wouldn't normally pay that much for a dress either but it's too beautiful to say no to. I love all the summery colours but it will also look fab with a pair of tights and a thick cardigan in the winter.

What have been your favourite things this month?
